What if you could make a few extra buck$$ doing the things that you're already doing-- working out, tracking your food/water intake, tracking your steps or your sleep....?
Apparently you CAN. This is a review of an app that does just that.
I recently stumbled across this app, called Achievement, which pays you for your healthy activities. A lot of "money" apps (apps that pay you for doing something) are SUPER time consuming. This one, however, you can do without actually doing anything!
You simply sync up your Fitbit/Garmin/Fitness app (you can use MyFitnessPal, Garmin, FitBit, Microsoft Health, Apple Health, and a bunch more). Your app reports to Achievement how many steps you took, if you tracked your heart-rate, if you exercised, if you walked/ran/rode a bike etc. You get points for each activity. And once you reach 10,000 points... you get $10.
So it's not a LOT of money, so don't go quitting your day job just because you work out a lot! But it's something that you can log in to and check once and a while, fill out some surveys for some extra points, and earn a surprise paycheck after a while. It might even help you keep on track!
Best part? It's free. ;)
Even cooler part? When I signed up, they gave me some bonus points. I then got points for connecting my apps, and it actually back-tracked for about 2 weeks, so I got all these points for 2 weeks worth of stuff I've already tracked!
